Rating: T for violence.
Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.
Author's Note: Neighbours thought it would be awesome to start partying at 4:30 in the morning and still haven't stopped. So this chapter may contain more mistakes than normal. Please point out any that you see.
This chapter is mostly verbal chess with Tseng.

Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.
Author's Note: So, I should have mentioned last chapter that Aeris won the poll against Aerith 7 to 6, so we're sticking with Aeris.
In this chapter, the universe (mostly Zack), continues to try and convince a stubborn Cloud to join SOLDIER.

Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.
Author's Note: This chapter is a short one, so it comes out a day early. As a result, I suspect posting time will be out of whack for the rest of the week - you can probably expect the next chapter on Thursday, and the regular Sunday/Wednesday routine after that.

Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.
Author's Note: Rather talky chapter, this one. Hopefully it does not bore. And as always, this is un-beta'd, so if you find any typos or mistakes please feel free to point them out so they can be fixed!

Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.
Author's Note: Wasn't terribly happy with this chapter, and I apologise for the predictable twist, but it all has a point eventually, promise. Also, Aeris/Aerith poll is still tied, go vote if you have a preference.

Isn't it cute? I'm going to move it to the bigger pot on the weekend, and love and nurture it to fruit-bearing age. I have named him 'Krishna'. :D Needs super-low pH soil though, between 4.5-5.8 I believe, so will have to get some aluminium sulfate to lower it or something. Ye gads, normally it's the opposite. At least I won't need to worry about fungi.
Also, Dissidia update! Finally cleared Inward Chaos. AND GUYS, THE LUNAR WHALE COURSE? So easy now. Welcome to the BLACKJACK course. Level 150 Zidane can go straight to hell as far as I'm concerned, and take Level 130 Chaos with him. I find it terribly unfair that Cloud's equipped with Fenrir and Omega summon and the full set of Adamant armour and still gets his ass kicked. I wouldn't even contemplate entering unless you have an ample supply of Phoenix Downs and Arcane Resins. Whyyyy must my completionist tendecies kick in over this? ;___;
As for fanfiction stuff, next chapter of The Fifth Act will be up tomorrow. Need a quick vote - Aeris, or Aerith? I'm not really bothered either way, but I've been using Aeris under the supposition that first-is-best and all that. Hey, this is an appropriate time for a poll!

Author's Note: More of a conversation type chapter, and thus not quite as action-packed as the others so far.

Title: The Fifth Act
Rating: T for violence.
Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.
Author's Note: Thinking on it, I wonder if I started writing this simply as an excuse to have Older!Cloud and Genesis interact on some level.
Thanks to everyone giving this a chance, even though it is well-trodden ground. Again, un-beta'ed, so feel free to point out anything inconsistent, confusing, or typo'd to hell. And look! I'm being all good about linking chapters for once. Yeah, wonder how long that will hold up. :P

Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.
Author's Note: FFVII Time travel fics are almost as ubiquitous as Harry Potter time travel fics - a sub genre unto themselves. I approve of this! Time travel stories are a guilty pleasure of mine. And since I’ve been happily smothering myself in FFVII fandom after the double-whammy of Crisis Core and Dissidia, I suppose it was only a matter of time before I wrote this.
It’s by no means special or original, just a personal indulgement. Hasn’t been beta’ed, either, so please point out any mistakes. The urge to completely rewrite this is powerful, so I have to start posting if I ever want to finish it. Updates should be roughly twice a week, might up that pace down the line if I finish earlier. (Normally I try to finish a story before I start posting, but I already have the ending plotted out, and a twenty chapter head-start ought to be more than enough leeway, and may actually serve as incentive to write faster.)

I mean, look at this. This is practically a dairy ad. I swear I've seen this on a milk carton before.
( A couple more pictures under the cut )
Title: Allure of Honey
Rating: T for cross-dressing and innuendo.
Words: 4,623
Summary: Dissidia crack. Cloud winds up in an outfit he swore never to wear again. Everyone/Cloud.
Author's Note: I just noticed this armour in the store a couple of days ago, so had to trade for the full set immediately. XD Oh, Dissidia, you please the fans in strange and wonderful ways.
Written exclusively late at night while sleep-deprived, and hasn't been beta'ed either, so feel free to point out any mistakes!
If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or whatever, post one sentence/paragraph/whatever from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else.
I've got a lot more WIPs than this, but tried to keep it to ones that actually have a chance of getting posted.
( And hooray, only one of them is leftover from the last WIP meme? )
So I haven't posted on here for a while. *dusts off LJ* Work has been kind of crazy, lots of bad news and general hysteria. But today was good day! No, scratch that, today was a great day! Here's five good things that happened today:
1. My order of soundtracks arrived in the mail! Kuroshitsuji OST collection is so swanky! And finally plugged that hole in my Tsubasa Chronicles music collection. Ah, completionism.
2. I learned that a Bread Top is opening in Brisbane! Bread Top, guys! Somebody has been reading my diary. *___*
3. I managed a 20-win streak in the Lunar Whale Course in Dissidia! Come hither, ultimate weapons. (Lvl100 Kuja on maximum still continues to flatten me, though.)
4. A tricky scene that had been bugging me in a fanfic finally clicked! Nailed the rest of the chapter in one go!
5. This: excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess!
I had forgotten how terrible the old Legend of Zelda cartoons were. XD But there's a certain charm to old cartoon sarcasm. The best line ever belongs to Shredder in TMNT - "Perfect! A completely abandoned warehouse!"
Flist! Tell me something good that happened to you today.
Bits and pieces from life!
First of all, rather belatedly the dotmoon folks sent an adorable little award image for 'A Traditional Ninja Romance' winning in the Prince of Tennis category this year. Yay!
It was all personalised and stuff! This kind of thing impresses the heck out me. Thanks again everyone!
In other exciting news,
silverymare wrote the most AMAZING prompt fill for my totally stupid prompt over here! (It's flocked though, but I think a good portion of our friends lists overlap so hopefully that's okay.) Aslkfjslkjfsf even worked in the 'ghost who walks' references and TezRyo! Only Tenipuri can deliver such amazing crack. This one was incredibly awesome too, for different reasons. Comic books are on the brain! You're so generous P-chan. You should stop humouring me so much, I might develop more personality problems. :P
Also, there's this cat that's been desperately trying to adopt itself into our household for the past few months, and my flatmate finally managed to get some good photos of her! Doesn't she look SO MUCH like Karupin?
( Thar be spoilers in these depths! )
The folks in Sydney had it way worse though:
Off to have a shower now. I smell like a cane farm after harvest.
