Data - anytime, anywhere

Just something I noticed after watching the Tezuka-Chitose match for about the twentieth time.

INUI, ARE YOU ACTUALLY ALLOWED TO BRING YOUR NOTEBOOK ON TO THE COURT?

I know you're just kind of there, but REALLY.  :P Such lax rules at those Nationals.

Has anyone ever wondered if maybe Inui keeps something other than data in there?  :3

Unrelated, but OMG, just finished FFVII Crisis Core, and even knowing the ending in advance, HOW DID THEY MAKE IT SO HORRIBLE AND SAD?  I pretty much lost it when he started losing his memories in the DMV wheel.

There are many kinds of porn data, my dear. Technically, you can classify anything that's worth...learning [read:everything] as data.

X< BECAUSE SQUARE ENIX KNOWS THAT EVEN IF WE FANGIRLS/GAMERS INHERENTLY DO NOT LIKE HORRIBLY SAD ENDINGS, THE MORE TRAGIC IT IS, THE MORE IT WOULD SELL. AND WE'D BE WAITING FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT ANYWAY BECAUSE WE WON'T BE SATISFIED WITH THE ENDING AND THE CYCLE WILL REPEAT NEXT TIME AGAIN BECAUSE WE'RE ALL MASOCHISTIC. =| ANGST MAKES YOU CRAVE FOR MORE EVEN IF IT HURTS AFTER ALL. YOU AS A READER AND WRITER SHOULD BE AWARE OF THIS.

[/RANT]

*lesigh* You've gotta give them kudos for that though, even if it was sad. =|

Indeed. I LOVED the ending. But I was just surprised that it got to me so, considering, you know, I ALREADY KNEW IT WAS COMING. D: It was the WAY they did it... aldsfkjaslkjslkjf. The pointless struggle against fate. ;_____;

My only complaint is that in every version, they've skimmed over the lab. Four years! I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME MORE OF WHAT HAPPENED OVER THOSE FOUR YEARS, MONTAGE PLEASE.

See what I mean? They'll drag it out as long as they can until they get like, I dunno =| 243584987234 complaints about it and then then CONSIDER giving us the bone but we see like, a mini bone or part[s] of the big bone LIKE WHAT THEY DID WITH THE BLOODY LAB. =|

Btw, back to Tenipuri, look! IT'S SUBBED!!! XDXDXD

You know the second episode of the finals is subbed too? Shinsen did it months ago. But now they've dropped the series, booo. :(

Oh really? How sad. D8 I've missed so much.

I don't like getting anything from Shinsen anymore unless it's all finished. >.> I mean, their subs are nice and [mostly] accurate and all but they're too damn slow most of the time and because of it, a series gets licensed before they complete it and they drop it like a hot potato -______-

Nicely summarised. Yeah, Shinsen used to be my first port of call, but it has become my last. Fortunately, they were doing that one joint with Saizen - hopefully Saizen will keep it up, even if they're as slow as dinosaurs.

We can only hope =|. Speaking of which, did Saizen finish all of semi-finals?

They did! \o/ Good times. The screencap was actually from one of theirs.

I had a moment like that just a few days ago when I randomly skipped through 30.5 and noticed something I failed to notice all those previous times:

That Tezuka had an affair with Yanagisawa all along! How could I have been oblivious to it? It's been so obvious! Everything makes sense now!

...come to think of it, they totally should release Inui's notebook as a fanbook. Like, fanbook 3.14 or something. Srsly.

Heee, I remember seeing that picture too. Always weirded me out. I mean, Yanagisawa? TEZUKA, YOU COULD DO SO MUCH BETTER THAN THAT.

AND OH MY GOODNESS BEST IDEA EVER SOMEONE CONTACT SHONEN JUMP. Srsly.

(Something that's been bugging me... was there a 20.5? I have the others, but...)

There is a 20.5 - it's the one where Mizuki scouts Ryou Atsushi:

I don't have the real thing though, just a few scans from the rackets comm.

Oh! You're right. Mystery solved. Wow, it was surprisingly forgettable compared to the others.

LOL Well, not like it's doing any harm or interfering. If the notebook's not allowed, then they definitely should have stopped Kaidoh and Momo from using those masks, lol.

Well, the umpire DID make a half-hearted effort....

Yeah, screw it. Rules, in the tenipuri universe? MADNESS.

I've always secretly suspected that Inui keeps porn in that notebook...

Crisis Core is so sad...I'll probably never play it b/c I'll probably never be able to get a PSP, so I've completed spoiled the ending for myself. I don't understand why Zack is losing his memories in the wheel thing. I thought Cloud was the one who lost his memories...

I figured it was because he was dying, and it was a life-flashing-before-your-eyes thing.

I also thought Cloud didn't so much as lose his memories, as got terribly confused and somehow wound up with a bunch of Zack's memories. Thought perhaps it was related. It's not something they ever explain very well. But aslkfjslkfjklafj SO TRAGIC RIGHT? ;___; Best ending ever. The music killed me.

I wouldn't know about Cloud, since I've never actually even played the original FFVII. I've only seen Advent Children and played Dirge of Cerberus because I utterly fail. T_T

But very, very tragic. I cry everytime I feel like spoiling myself again and taking a visit to Youtube. I even have the music downloaded b/c I'm such a masochist...
